The blog was started in 2020 under the name Phono-synthesis, until it was finally established as:

The blog focuses on what’s new in the world of literature. I write everything from book reviews to comedy pieces.
As the sole contributor and designer — writing for this blog since March 2020 — I have seen a community flourish.
Authors and readers alike have found a home at A Writer’s Bookshelf, and the blog has grown considerably since I started it.
We now write early access book reviews for grass roots writers along with the more established.
The blog is certainly one of the more exciting projects I’m currently working on. Written from a place of passion and with a love of literature.
